Pundit: You Don’t Have Enough XRP for What Will Happen Next Week

Financial commentator Bark has urged XRP holders to accumulate more tokens ahead of next week, citing upcoming developments while XRP trades near $1.50 amid strong ETF inflows and technical patterns.

Pundit: You Don’t Have Enough XRP for What Will Happen Next Week

As the market transitions into October, financial commentator Bark has issued a striking forecast regarding XRP.

In a recent post on X, Bark told his audience, “You don’t have enough XRP for what’s about to happen next week.” He refrained from citing a particular catalyst or giving a price target, leaving his followers to speculate on his intentions.

This remark arrives while XRP changes hands close to the $1.50 mark, following a recent push toward $1.60. A variety of ongoing developments surrounding both XRP and the XRP Ledger give investors additional reasons to monitor the market closely as September concludes.

Bark Points to a Potentially Significant Week

Bark’s commentary centered solely on his expectations for XRP in the coming week. He did not clarify whether he anticipates a major price shift, a structural market update, or a different catalyst altogether.

His followers offered mixed reactions. User Silk.Daddy.888 noted that he planned to archive a screenshot of the prediction to see if the commentator ultimately gets vindicated or faces backlash.

Conversely, RRS expressed frustration, mentioning a nearly seven-figure loss on XRP and hoping the digital asset climbs back to $3 during the current market cycle. Meanwhile, Mamuehl took a critical stance, pointing out underwhelming performance by XRP relative to other cryptocurrencies.

XRP Recently Tested the $1.60 Area

XRP recently navigated a crucial price zone as traders monitored the $1.55–$1.60 band. The cryptocurrency advanced from the lower $1.30s earlier in the month before breaking past $1.60.

This movement is also tied to a broader technical pattern. Analysts have pointed out that the $1.55–$1.60 threshold aligns with a retest of a multi-year symmetric triangle pattern that began forming back in 2017–2018.

While this technical framework provides background for Bark’s statement, his post did not explicitly link his upcoming weekly prediction to the chart formations.

ETF Inflows Add to XRP Market Activity

Institutional interest continues to play a role in the wider XRP landscape. Data referenced for this analysis shows that U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds have gathered over $1.75 billion in net inflows.

Contributions from Bitwise and Franklin Templeton have bolstered these recent inflows, showing steady capital allocation into regulated investment vehicles for XRP. Although these numbers point to persistent demand, they do not guarantee any specific price action for the week ahead.

Additionally, the XRP Ledger has protocol upgrades on the horizon. These include the Batch amendment, which enables the processing of bundled transactions, alongside account delegation features.

October Brings Several XRP-Related Developments

The start of October also brings Ripple’s routine escrow schedule. The mechanism unlocks up to 1 billion XRP at the beginning of each month—including October 1—though unused portions can be sent back into escrow by Ripple.

Such scheduled unlocks can introduce extra supply to the market ahead of other events affecting trading volume. Consequently, market participants will keep an eye on both institutional fund flows and circulating supply as October gets underway.

Furthermore, Ripple is scheduled to hold Ripple Swell 2026 from October 27 to 29 in New York, running concurrently with XRPL Apex. The gathering will bring together leaders from traditional financial institutions and digital asset enterprises.

Because Bark did not clarify which—if any—of these occurrences underpins his forecast, XRP holders are left waiting to see what unfolds next week.
