Amid a downturn in the wider cryptocurrency market, XRP has fallen 2.26% to change hands at $1.30. However, crypto analyst Austin Hilton believes chart data for the asset warrants close observation. During a recent video shared on X, he explained that historical chart configurations are aligning in a manner that has previously foreshadowed significant price surges.
What the Chart is Showing
Hilton’s analysis centers on a technical indicator that produces a green dot signal whenever a designated wave falls underneath a white line on the chart. According to him, this specific signal boasts an impressive historical track record when applied to XRP.
He highlighted three previous instances. Following the appearance of the green dot, XRP surged 194% over 12 days in August. A second instance yielded a 104% increase in 10 days, while a third resulted in a 101% gain over 11 days.
He additionally referenced an earlier scenario that generated approximately an 83% return across 12 days. “Each time has been over 100%,” he noted, focusing on the more recent occurrences of the signal.
Is it almost the PERFECT TIME to buy XRP…

The Current Setup
According to Hilton, XRP has undergone consolidation since roughly August 25 and recently slipped past support at $1.32. The indicator’s blue wave is presently descending beneath the white line, marking what he views as the incipient phase of a familiar pattern. While the green dot has not yet materialized, he anticipates that the necessary conditions are forming.
“We are now seeing the exact same pattern,” Hilton stated. He added that if the green dot surfaces under the white line, historical performance suggests it will mark what he termed “almost the perfect time to buy” XRP.
The Buy Signal Has Not Arrived Yet
Hilton explicitly emphasized that the official signal has not yet triggered. He continues to monitor the bottom right section of the chart in anticipation of the green dot. He differentiated this setup from past moments when the wave merely neared the white line without crossing underneath it—situations that failed to yield a signal, as only crossings below the line activate it.
His thesis relies strictly on past precedent. In his assessment, current price declines and consolidation phases are laying the groundwork for a prospective entry point, aligning with his strategy of purchasing assets during periods marked by negative market sentiment.
Watching for Confirmation
Hilton refrains from classifying the current situation as a confirmed purchase opportunity. While prevailing chart conditions mirror a historically meaningful setup, the definitive green dot signal beneath the white line remains absent. That exact signal is necessary to validate the buying window, leaving him in a holding pattern of observation until it appears.
