Finance Expert Says XRP Could Rise 60% If It Passes This Test

Crypto commentator Austin Hilton states that XRP could surge by nearly 60% if it maintains the $1.50 support level and successfully breaks past the $1.55 resistance barrier, targeting a price of $2.43.

Finance Expert Says XRP Could Rise 60% If It Passes This Test

XRP is currently encountering a crucial technical hurdle that may dictate whether its ongoing recovery can push toward elevated price targets.

According to crypto commentator Austin Hilton, XRP has the potential to surge by nearly 60% provided it maintains the $1.50 support level, successfully crosses the $1.55 resistance, and holds that breakout.

In a video shared via an X post, Hilton outlined the trading pattern. He drew parallels between the present price formation and a past 56.83% rally by XRP, leveraging that historical precedent to arrive at a projected target close to $2.43.

Hilton Identifies $1.55 as the Immediate Test

Hilton noted that XRP was changing hands near $1.50 at the time of recording, designating that zone as a critical region for the asset to protect. He subsequently highlighted $1.55 as the primary barrier that needs to be overcome.

Per Hilton’s analysis, XRP must successfully defend the $1.50 threshold prior to mounting an attack on $1.55. Following a successful breach of $1.55, he emphasized that the cryptocurrency must maintain its position above that price to validate the breakout.

Hilton characterized $1.55 as the upper edge of the recent downward-sloping structure on XRP’s chart. He indicated that a confirmed close above that mark could pave the way toward loftier Fibonacci levels.

Key Fibonacci milestones identified on the chart include $2.18, $2.40, and $2.57. Hilton stated that these targets could become accessible if the breakout is fully realized.

Previous XRP Rally Supports the 60% Projection

Hilton derived his forecast from an earlier 56.83% upward move by XRP. By examining a prior climb that stretched from roughly $0.99 to $1.55, he established a historical baseline to evaluate the current market setup.

Should XRP mirror a comparable percentage gain from its present valuation, Hilton’s calculations suggest the token could climb to roughly $2.43, equating to an advance of nearly 60% from the referenced levels.

Additionally, Hilton touched upon XRP’s pullback toward the $1.27–$1.30 band, linking the downturn to a mix of macro factors such as employment data, actions from the Federal Reserve, and global geopolitical occurrences.

He observed that XRP has since climbed back toward the $1.50 threshold. From his perspective, the roadmap requires the digital asset to hold $1.50, push past $1.55, and retain sufficient momentum to stay above it.

Ultimately, Hilton’s near-term outlook for XRP hinges on three actions: defending $1.50, breaching $1.55, and sustaining the breakout. Achieving these goals would align his chart projections with the $2.18–$2.57 zone, anchored by a $2.43 target derived from a duplication of the previous 56.83% rally.
