Top Investor Explains Why He Remains Bullish on XRP for Over a Decade

A prominent digital asset investor has detailed the reasons behind his decade-long bullish stance on XRP, pointing to his early encounters with the technology, the institutional pedigree of individuals linked to Ripple, and shifts across the broader cryptocurrency sector.

In an extensive video shared alongside his X post, he stated that he is “more bullish than ever,” drawing attention to several factors that he argues will bolster XRP’s position within the global financial architecture.

Recounting his entry into the crypto space around 2013, the investor explained that he explored various digital assets on CoinMarketCap and visited their respective project websites to conduct his own research.

Upon reviewing Ripple—which he noted was tied to XRP at that time—he observed that many of the associated personnel boasted professional and academic backgrounds at leading institutions and universities.

Those associations immediately drew his interest, as he reasoned that seasoned professionals would not associate with an early-stage venture unless its underlying technology held immense potential. Having spent more than 10 years tracking the individuals and entities tied to Ripple, he remarked that his ongoing research continually strengthens his confidence.

XRP Market Activity and Institutional Developments

Moving into market dynamics, the investor touched upon price action and catalysts that he believes could facilitate institutional participation. He observed that XRP was trading near $1.50 while Bitcoin hovered around $86,000, with the wider market anticipating a major breakout.

He spotlighted progress surrounding XRP exchange-traded funds, specifically noting Grayscale’s reported choice of Anchorage Digital Bank as custodian, alongside its adoption of in-kind creation and redemption mechanisms. In his view, this structure enables major market participants to transfer XRP directly into and out of the ETF rather than depending strictly on cash settlements.

Additionally, he pointed to significant outflows of XRP from digital asset exchanges, attributing a large portion of this movement to large-scale holders, or whales, while linking these trends to escalating institutional attention.

The investor also examined Evernorth’s roadmap for XRP lending directed at institutional clients. He cited remarks from Evernorth CEO Ashish Birla concerning yield generation on XRP holdings and touched upon the firm’s anticipated public listing.

Ripple, Regulation and the Clarity Act

A significant portion of the commentary focused on U.S. cryptocurrency regulations and the Clarity Act. While expressing frustration over legislative stagnation, he noted suggestions that the SEC and CFTC could implement internal rulemaking to resolve some of the ambiguities targeted by the bill.

He argued that regulatory bodies could act more swiftly through independent measures and emphasized the necessity of establishing definitive guidelines for digital assets in the U.S. Citing CFTC Chairman Mike Selig and former CFTC Chairman Chris Giancarlo, he analyzed the shifting regulatory landscape.

He tied these regulatory themes back to his longstanding viewpoint that the United States ought to foster financial innovation in the same manner it once championed the expansion of the internet.

Why Digital Asset Investor Remains Bullish on XRP

Concluding his analysis, the investor reiterated the core foundations of his long-term outlook on XRP. He reviewed the architectural design of the XRP Ledger, featuring an archival clip from Stanford professor Susan Athey explaining how XRP functions differently from traditional ledger entries that merely represent claims against fiat currencies.

He further underscored asset tokenization, stablecoins, digital payments, and institutional adoption as transformative trends poised to reshape financial systems. Referencing remarks from Giancarlo, he noted that blockchain infrastructure is increasingly positioned to back tokenized securities, collateral management, and everyday financial transactions.

The investor wrapped up by reaffirming his enduring conviction in both the cryptocurrency market and XRP.
