NYSE Connects to XRP Ledger and Stellar Through These Two Transfer Agents

The New York Stock Exchange has linked its new tokenized securities venue to the XRP Ledger, Stellar, XDC, and Algorand blockchains through transfer agent agreements with Securitize and tZERO.

NYSE Connects to XRP Ledger and Stellar Through These Two Transfer Agents

By entering into transfer agent agreements, the New York Stock Exchange has established links between its upcoming tokenized securities venue and four distinct blockchain networks.

Crypto researcher SMQKE highlighted the significance of the development, stating on X, “NYSE connects to XRPL, Stellar, XDC and Algorand through two transfer agents.” SMQKE characterized the setup as “documented,” emphasizing the formal and verified nature of these pacts.

To support its newly launched affiliated venue for trading Issuer Sponsored Tokenized Securities, the NYSE has been actively assembling a partner ecosystem.

A total of six transfer agent companies have now come on board. While Securitize (NYSE: SECZ) and tZERO were the initial two partners, the exchange has subsequently brought on Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR), Computershare, Equiniti, and Superstate.

Securitize Brings the XRP Ledger

The involvement of Securitize carries notable importance for the XRP ecosystem. According to Ripple, the firm has integrated Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin into its tokenization platform and is working on an integration with the XRP Ledger to boost access and utility across the network. This collaboration expands the reach of Securitize into programmable liquidity and real-time settlement for tokenized assets.

Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize, described the alliance as “a major step forward in automating liquidity for tokenized assets,” adding that the organizations are “delivering real-time settlement and programmable liquidity across a new class of compliant, on-chain investment products.”

Via its capacity as an NYSE transfer agent, Securitize directly connects the exchange’s tokenized securities marketplace to the XRP Ledger.

tZERO Adds Stellar, XDC, and Algorand

Meanwhile, tZERO incorporates three extra blockchain networks into the mix, with its infrastructure offering support for Stellar, the XDC Network, and Algorand.

Stellar is engineered specifically for issuing and managing assets. The XDC Network employs a hybrid public-private architecture built to satisfy regulatory requirements within regulated industries, whereas Algorand features a Layer-1 foundation equipped with native regulatory mechanisms like asset freezing and clawbacks, rendering it well-suited for digital securities.

tZERO outlines its core mission as “bringing compliant tokenization, regulated trading, and settlement to institutions and investors worldwide.”

Four Networks, One Exchange

XRP, XLM, XDC, and ALGO now maintain direct pathways to the world’s premier stock exchange courtesy of these transfer agent alliances. Through these measures, the NYSE has forged formal, documented integrations with every single one of the networks.

As the market for tokenized securities continues its ongoing growth, the NYSE is positioning itself squarely at the forefront.
