Z-TEXT zk-SNARKs Messenger Launches: No Phone, No Email, No SIM

Sheridan, Wyoming, Sheridan County, October 5, 2026 – Z-TEXT, a privacy-focused messaging application powered by the BitcoinZ blockchain, has officially launched. The platform requires no email address, phone number, SIM card, or KYC verification. Users can download the app today on Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux, with an iOS version arriving soon in the App Store.

How It Works

Every message sent via Z-TEXT operates as a shielded BitcoinZ transaction. The zero-knowledge proof system known as zk-SNARKs verifies that each transaction is valid while keeping the identities of both the sender and the recipient entirely hidden. Before transmission, message contents are secured on the user’s device using AES-256-GCM encryption, ensuring that only the intended recipient has the ability to read them.

Rather than relying on a phone number or email account, user identities are derived from a seed phrase, giving individuals the freedom to discard and replace them whenever they choose.

The platform relies on a three-tier architecture: the BitcoinZ blockchain for permanent decentralization, zk-SNARKs for user privacy, and quantum-resistant cryptography (specifically ML-KEM-768, which has been live since version 3.7.0) to safeguard key exchanges against future quantum computing threats.

One Blockchain, Five Tools

Z-TEXT integrates five distinct utilities into a single application: a messaging client, a BTCZ cryptocurrency wallet, an on-chain password manager, a broadcasting tool called Channels, and a system for managing disposable identities. Each identity relies on its own 24-word seed phrase, which unlocks all five features simultaneously.

Sending a message requires a fee of 0.0002 BTCZ, split evenly as a 0.0001 BTCZ network fee and a 0.0001 BTCZ payment delivered directly to the recipient. During a standard conversation, that recipient fee is returned with each reply, bringing the actual ongoing cost to roughly 0.0001 BTCZ per message.

Network and Verification

The BitcoinZ network generated its genesis block on September 10, 2017. Designed to be GPU-mineable without the need for specialized hardware, the network’s coin supply underwent an independent security assessment in June 2026 that verified its full integrity.

Z-TEXT does not create or issue BTCZ tokens and holds no operational control over the underlying BitcoinZ blockchain. Operating entirely without venture capital backing, the company maintains an active bug bounty initiative offering payouts of up to $1,500 per vulnerability discovered, funded from a public and verifiable pool of ZEC.

Statement from Leadership

“I believe in zk-SNARKs the way some people believe in free speech itself,” stated Eric Pierrot, the founder of Z-TEXT. “A whistleblower, a journalist, anyone who needs to speak without being silenced shouldn’t have to trust a company. The math should protect them, not a privacy policy.”

Availability

Basic functions—such as utilizing the wallet, viewing previously saved data, and reading Channels—are completely free and do not require a license. However, a license code required to unlock messaging, add new entries to the password manager, publish to Channels, and generate fresh disposable identities begins at $3 for a one-month term via the Z-TEXT packages page, with payments accepted in several major cryptocurrencies.

About Z-TEXT

Z-TEXT functions as a multi-tool privacy platform encompassing a messenger, digital wallet, password manager, and broadcast network built on top of the BitcoinZ blockchain. The organization does not issue BTCZ, operates independently of the BitcoinZ blockchain’s control, and has grown without relying on venture capital investments.
