473 Million XRP Just Hit Wall Street. Here’s What Is Coming

A major milestone arrives for XRP today as Evernorth Holdings—the largest pure-play XRP treasury company globally—launches trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN. The firm debuts on public markets with roughly 473 million XRP tokens alongside $300 million in cash.

Commenting on the occasion on X, Levi Rietveld of Crypto Crusaders noted, “473M XRP HITS WALL STREET!”

Details of Evernorth

Rather than acting as a passive holding entity, Evernorth takes an active approach to managing its XRP assets via institutional lending and decentralized finance (DeFi) deployment. The resulting yields are funneled back into acquiring more XRP.

Major Japanese financial institution SBI Group verified this active approach in its own corporate reporting following a $200 million commitment to Evernorth via a Private Investment in Public Equity. Additional backers include Ripple, Kraken, Pantera Capital, and Arrington Capital.

Operating as a regulated treasury vehicle, Evernorth lets investors gain exposure to XRP directly through standard brokerage accounts, removing previous complications and serving as a key market differentiator.

How We Got Here

Evernorth’s journey to the Nasdaq involved a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II, which shareholders backed on September 30. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission had previously declared Evernorth’s Form S-4 registration statement effective in August, with the merger initially slated to close October 7 and trading to follow on October 8.

Due to a minor administrative delay, the closing moved to October 9 and the trading debut shifted to October 12. Management confirmed that the postponement did not affect the underlying transaction.

Why This Is Good for XRP

In his video, Rietveld emphasized the significance of the move: “Big institutional money is coming through the front door,” he stated, “and that’s not something that you see every single day.” He further remarked, “The whole ecosystem is going to benefit from this a lot.”

With holdings representing nearly 0.5% of the entire XRP supply, Evernorth’s strategy keeps its capital actively engaged. Yields earned through institutional lending and DeFi participation are continuously reinvested into purchasing additional XRP, generating consistent, real buying pressure.

Apart from these price mechanics, the public listing alters XRP’s overall market profile. A Nasdaq-listed enterprise holding 473 million XRP provides institutional investors with a regulated, familiar vehicle, broadening the capital sources capable of accessing XRP without engaging directly with native cryptocurrency infrastructure.

The Launch

Trading for XRPN starts today on the Nasdaq. Evernorth enters the public sphere as the biggest publicly traded pure-play XRP treasury available. Through its substantial scale, active management model, and strong institutional backing, XRP establishes a permanent and novel foothold on Wall Street.
