Is XRP Setting Up the Next Big Move? Here’s What This Chart Shows

Cryptocurrency analyst Lana Valentis (@LanaValentis) shared a technical analysis of XRP, pointing out that the digital asset is “poised to rebound from the broken descending channel on the daily timeframe, bolstered by robust buyer support confirming the retest.”

Ever since reaching its all-time high of $3.65 in July 2025, XRP has traded inside a descending channel. While the upper boundary has limited major rallies since mid-2025, the lower boundary has consistently offered support.

The chart illustrates price compression toward the lower trendline through July and August, highlighting a green zone near $0.99 that represents the support area. Selling pressure was absorbed in this region, enabling XRP to climb back above $1.30.

The Chart Structure

The chart features several key horizontal levels at $1.70, $2.20, $2.70, and $3.65, each holding importance derived from past price action. The primary resistance is indicated by a red dashed line at $3.65. A projected path is mapped out with an arrow, showing the price potentially climbing from the current area around $1.35 to $3.65 while breaking through intermediate milestones. Please note that this trajectory is a projection rather than a certainty.

The green-shaded zone spanning roughly $0.99 to $1.10 identifies where buyers entered the market. Following a touch of this level in August, XRP surged more than 50% in a 65-hour window, pushing back to a multi-month high of $1.68. Although it has since pulled back slightly, the token remains comfortably above support.

Targets and Levels

Valentis identifies four specific targets should the bounce be confirmed. The initial target sits at $1.70, representing the closest resistance on the chart. The second target is $2.20, corresponding to a previous zone of price interaction. The third level is $2.70, noted as another historically meaningful price point. Finally, the fourth target is $3.65, which aligns with the red dashed resistance stemming from the peak in mid-2025.

Every target lines up with a distinct horizontal marker on the chart. To reach higher objectives, XRP must successfully break through each preceding level. Valentis stresses that these targets depend entirely on a confirmed bounce off the lower boundary of the channel.

The Role of Tokenization

Beyond technical metrics, Valentis touched upon XRP’s fundamental outlook. The commentary emphasizes that XRP is evolving into the foundational layer for real-world asset tokenization, noting that “its ecosystem is growing faster than most realize.” This perspective accompanies the broader technical evaluation.

Ultimately, the setup relies on the $0.99 lower channel boundary maintaining its integrity and buyers sustaining their momentum above that threshold. Advancing toward $3.65 hinges on this support holding firm as the token navigates each resistance barrier.
