Pundit: XRP Holders, Listen Closely! Here’s What Ripple Just Did

X Finance Bull recently drew attention to the vast scale of the corporate finance market following the expansion of Ripple’s Treasury platform.

In a tweet, the crypto commentator connected Ripple’s newly launched continuous financial infrastructure to the immense capital that companies allocate toward payments, payroll, investments, and daily operations.

The timing aligns with notable market figures. Global corporate debt reached $59.5 trillion by the end of 2025, alongside an additional $13.7 trillion in debt issued by companies over the course of that year. These statistics highlight the massive financial sector that Ripple is now targeting.

Corporate Cash Management

X Finance Bull noted that businesses handle substantial capital across their everyday operations, creating a need for financial systems that function without interruption. He associated the growth of Ripple’s Treasury with this exact demand, particularly as companies seek more streamlined methods for handling corporate cash.

He further pointed to the 2026 AFP Liquidity Survey, which revealed that 86% of treasury professionals would utilize real-time money market funds if permitted by their investment guidelines. For X Finance Bull, these survey results reinforce the necessity for financial tools that grant enterprises liquidity access outside normal banking hours.

Ripple formally announced its enhanced Treasury capabilities on October 26, combining AI automation, global transactions, liquidity oversight, and 24/7 financial services into a unified platform.

GSmart Handles Core Treasury Operations

At the heart of Ripple Treasury lies GSmart, an artificial intelligence system tailored specifically for corporate finance departments. It manages responsibilities such as cash positioning, forecasting, financial reconciliation, liquidity management, and disbursements.

The platform aims to minimize the manual effort required from finance teams while offering companies enhanced oversight regarding their cash reserves and payment workflows.

Furthermore, Ripple enters this market backed by an established roster of clients. Major brands including American Airlines, Subway, Christian Louboutin, Adecco, Trax, and Kingfisher currently utilize Ripple Treasury.

Ripple Adds 24/7 Returns

The upgraded platform also introduces 24/7 Returns, enabling qualifying corporate clients to generate returns on approved digital assets—including RLUSD—outside standard banking hours.

This service operates continuously through weekends, holidays, and overnight periods, with Ripple managing the underlying digital asset transfers. Consequently, corporate users gain a viable method to put eligible assets to work free from the constraints of conventional banking calendars.

This functionality directly answers the corporate cash management flexibility highlighted in the AFP survey.

XRP Connection Comes Through the Broader Ecosystem

Ripple’s platform expansion does not guarantee that businesses will automatically adopt XRP as a direct treasury asset. Instead, the connection to XRP is established through the wider blockchain architecture underpinning Ripple’s offerings and the XRP Ledger.

While Ripple Treasury integrates blockchain-based financial infrastructure alongside RLUSD, XRP serves to support network activity on the XRP Ledger through transaction fees and related functions.

With an already prominent roster of corporate clients, the Treasury expansion provides Ripple with a solid foundation to pursue a much larger share of the corporate finance industry.
