Veteran Trader Peter Brandt Drops Bombshell XRP Price Chart

Veteran crypto trader Peter Brandt has shared a new XRP chart featuring a coffee mug graphic and highlighting the crucial $1.6572 threshold, continuing his recent series of technical analyses for the digital asset.

Veteran Trader Peter Brandt Drops Bombshell XRP Price Chart

Experienced crypto and commodity trader Peter Brandt has shared yet another widely discussed XRP chart, this time incorporating a coffee mug graphic into the setup while highlighting $1.6572 as a crucial threshold above current market prices.

While the unconventional visual alludes to the traditional cup-and-handle formation, Brandt refrained from explicitly naming the pattern in his publication. This graphic expands upon a sequence of XRP-focused technical observations that Brandt has released over the past fortnight.

Brandt Marks $1.6572 on XRP Chart

The veteran trader’s latest chart evaluates XRP against the US dollar on a daily time scale. The visual captured XRP trading at approximately $1.5230 at the time of publication, with ongoing price action continuing to hover near the $1.50 region.

Brandt designated the $1.6572 mark with a horizontal line situated above the current valuation. XRP previously tested this zone during its upward movement in September before undergoing a retracement and settling into a sideways consolidation phase.

Positioned over the central portion of the chart, the coffee mug image was left unexplained by Brandt. Nevertheless, its placement hints at a cup-and-handle formation—a technical configuration typically characterized by a rounded price base followed by a minor dip, which often precedes an upward breakout.

The XRP chart displays an extended rounded formation preceding the September rally, which then transitioned into consolidation around $1.50. This price behavior likely inspired the coffee mug illustration, though Brandt has not officially verified whether he intended it as a cup-and-handle reference.

Brandt Continues His XRP Chart Posts

This update marks Brandt’s third shared XRP chart within a span of roughly two weeks.

On September 22, he posted a monthly XRP/USD chart suggesting a potential long-term target of $5.40, alongside a reminder that charts do not equate to actual trades and social media posts do not serve as proof.

Five days later, Brandt published another chart indicating a potential inverse head-and-shoulders pattern. With XRP trading near $1.52 at that moment, he remarked that technical charts alone have historically provided him with sufficient grounds to take a position.

His newest post maintains this recent emphasis on XRP market structures. Rather than offering extensive written commentary, Brandt lets the chart speak for itself by displaying the current price trajectory alongside the highlighted $1.6572 marker.

Brandt’s Earlier XRP Position

This current wave of technical analysis marks a departure from Brandt’s past skepticism regarding XRP. He famously labeled the asset a scam in 2020 before withdrawing the remark in 2021, and he subsequently took aim at XRP supporters for what he perceived as extreme bias while casting doubt on certain underlying fundamentals.

Conversely, his latest updates have leaned heavily into price charts and chart patterns. His September post featured a long-term goal of $5.40, while his second update pointed toward an inverse head-and-shoulders configuration.

The most recent chart introduces another potential technical cue via the coffee mug graphic. Should Brandt have intended to signal a cup-and-handle setup, the $1.6572 mark could emerge as a critical zone for market participants monitoring the setup, though the trader himself has not confirmed this interpretation.

At present, XRP trades close to $1.52, remaining beneath the $1.6572 level identified on Brandt’s chart. Whether the asset advances toward or retreats from this threshold will dictate the further evolution of the technical pattern.
