Top Trader: This Is XRP Price Analysis You Need to See If…

Cryptocurrency investor Zach Humphries is evaluating the potential depth of XRP’s ongoing pullback, noting that a drop to the $1 mark remains possible if selling momentum increases.

During a video shared on X, Humphries discussed current anxieties surrounding the token’s valuation, highlighting $1.27 as the vital threshold XRP must maintain to safeguard its existing weekly chart formation.

Opening his commentary, Humphries raised the question of whether XRP might retest the $0.99 to $1 threshold. He pointed out that the digital asset traded near that bracket during August before staging a rapid rebound that carried it to $1.70 over the course of several days. He noted that market participants are now evaluating the potential depth of the correction and its implications for the wider market.

Bitcoin and Macro Conditions Remain Important

Humphries connected the recent downward pressure in digital assets to broader financial trends, pointing out that equities have similarly pulled back. He explained that Bitcoin serves a critical function in shaping crypto market health, whereas macroeconomic variables impact both Bitcoin and risk-on assets generally.

He addressed anxiety related to Treasury yields and October’s broader economic climate. Nevertheless, Humphries emphasized that he views the current yield environment as a minor factor regarding his multi-year investment strategy. Additionally, he pointed out that a robust U.S. dollar can exert pressure on risk assets.

Furthermore, the XRP investor highlighted market leverage and recent exchange-traded fund redemptions as metrics to watch. Humphries stated that digital asset markets have seen high levels of leverage, alongside multi-day outflows from ETFs. He suggested that these trends offer valuable insights into the prevailing market environment.

$1.27 Becomes the Critical XRP Level

Shifting focus to the weekly timeframe, Humphries pinpointed $1.27 as the most significant technical level for XRP’s current configuration. He maintained that XRP must stay above $1.27 to keep its ongoing weekly recovery pattern viable.

At the time of his evaluation, XRP had dipped near $1.32 prior to mounting a recovery. Humphries stated that sustained weekly closes above $1.27 will keep the current pattern intact.

He also pointed back to the $0.98 to $1 zone touched in August as a notable prior low, following which XRP saw a robust rally that eventually brought the price toward $1.70.

Humphries Maintains a Bullish XRP Outlook

According to Humphries, the present chart indicates a potential head-and-shoulders pattern consisting of a left shoulder, head, and forming right shoulder. He views this formation as positive provided that XRP holds the $1.27 support level.

Based on his technical review, a decisive break beneath that line would invalidate the structure built following the August trough. Yet, as long as XRP stays above $1.27, Humphries affirmed he will remain unconcerned by temporary price fluctuations.

He wrapped up by stating that the present downturn represents short-term market noise from a macro outlook, while $1.27 continues to act as the primary line in the sand for preserving XRP’s bullish weekly framework.
